I know it sounds silly, but I can be REALLY scatterbrained and I have to make huge efforts to not forget things. I make lists. I have a "Fat Lil Notebook" that I always keep with me and jot things down in. I have done this since middle school. I would check it everyday before I left school for the day. Before I went to bed I would make a list of everything I needed for the next day. I also have a weekly list. Things I need in the following week. It sounds complicated and tedious but it works for me. Sometimes just writing it down helps me remember. He could do it right after he brushes his teeth or some other activity that he does everyday. Just a thought....
